INTERVIEW & CONTRIBUTOR RELEASE

1. Permission to record and use.

I voluntarily authorize EIDA LLC ("Producer"), producer of In Search of Joe (the "Production"), to interview, photograph, film and audio-record me and to use my name, biographical information that I provide, image, likeness, voice, statements, performance, and any materials I voluntarily provide for recording or reproduction (collectively, the "Contribution").

2. Rights granted.

I grant Producer and its successors, licensees, distributors and assigns the right to record, edit, excerpt, reproduce, translate, caption, adapt, combine, publish, exhibit, broadcast, stream, distribute, advertise and otherwise use the Contribution, in whole or in part, in connection with the Production and its trailers, excerpts, educational versions, festival submissions, publicity, promotion, archival presentations and related derivative or ancillary materials, in any media now known or later developed, worldwide, for the duration of applicable rights.

3. Editorial discretion.

Producer may edit the Contribution for length, clarity, continuity and storytelling. Producer will not knowingly use the Contribution in a materially misleading or defamatory manner. I understand that I will not have a right to inspect or approve the final Production, advertising, editing or context of use.

4. Compensation and ownership.

Unless separately agreed in writing, I participate without payment and waive claims for royalties or other compensation arising solely from the authorized use of the Contribution. Producer owns the recordings it creates. This release does not transfer ownership of pre-existing photographs, documents or other materials that I own unless a separate written license or transfer says so.

5. Privacy and data protection.

EIDA LLC is the data controller for personal information collected through this release and identifiable recordings associated with it. Producer processes this information to document permission, research and produce the Production, distribute and promote it, administer rights, respond to requests, and protect legal interests. Information and recordings may be stored or processed in the United States and distributed worldwide. Release and rights records may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to document Producer's rights and obligations. Depending on the jurisdiction and the nature of the processing, data-protection rights and obligations may be subject to lawful exemptions for journalism, artistic expression, literature or publication. 6. Consent and withdrawal.

Where consent is the applicable legal basis for processing personal data, I understand that I may withdraw that consent for future processing by contacting Producer. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal and does not necessarily require withdrawal, destruction or recall of material already lawfully published, distributed, incorporated into completed works, or processed under another lawful basis or applicable exemption. The contractual permissions granted by this release are intended to be relied upon by Producer to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Participant assurances.

I confirm that I am at least 18 years old; I am participating voluntarily; the statements I make are my own; and, to the best of my knowledge, I have authority to permit Producer to record any materials I personally provide for use. I will identify materials owned by someone else when known. Separate institutional, archival, copyright or location permissions may still be required.

8. Governing law.

This release is intended to operate to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, disputes concerning this release will be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without limiting any non-waivable rights a participant may have under applicable UK, EU or other law.
